Unveiled to Singapore Olympic Athletes at Games Send-off

SINGAPORE, 21st June, 2012 - Coca-Cola Singapore introduces its newest portfolio offering, isotonic drink Aquarius. Aquarius is one of The Coca-Cola Company's 15 billion-dollar brands, a brand that has achieved global retail sales of more than $1 billion. The brand will be officially unveiled at the Flag Presentation Ceremony, a tradition where the Singapore flag will be handed over from state officials to the Chef de Mission of the Singapore contingent leaving for the Olympic Games.

To wish the athletes well, Coca-Cola Singapore will be giving the Olympic contingent 100 cartons to help them Play On.

Aquarius is the first isotonic beverage in Singapore to contain a unique combination of electrolytes, Vitamin Bs and Guarana, and was the official drink of the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992.

Aquarius was first launched in Japan in 1982. Available in more than 10 flavours around the world, Aquarius is also sold in countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, Italy, Brazil, and Spain.

Aquarius is available in Grapefruit and Lemon flavours in Singapore at all supermarkets and convenience stores, and sold at recommended retail prices of $0.85 (330ml), $1.35 (500ml), and $2.10 (1.5L).
