"Coca-Cola", A Book and iPad App Featuring Iconic Images from the World’s Most Iconic Beverage Brand

Marking 125 years since the first Coca-Cola was enjoyed on May 8, 1886, and as a reflection of the brand’s relevance in popular culture since, Assouline, the purveyor of the most coveted fashion and art books worldwide, is releasing Coca-Cola - a book and iPad application celebrating one of the world’s most beloved brands.

This beautifully curated book celebrates a collection of the most iconic Coca-Cola photographs, advertisements, designs and memories from the worlds of film, fashion, art and social history.

Coca-Cola is available in two formats, a Special Limited Edition and a Standard Edition. The Standard Edition is a clothbound hardcover book featuring multilevel embossing and retails for $65. The Special Limited Edition collectible is hand-bound with color plates in an oversized linen clamshell box, retailing for $650. Some of the most iconic images include the sultry “Lady in Red” Brazilian advertisement from 1950 and the 1979 U.S. advertisement featuring legendary football player Mean Joe Greene. The books are available in Assouline Boutiques and select retail stores worldwide or can be ordered online at www.assouline.com.

Coca-Cola is also releasing an iPad app, featuring a digital version of the book as well as bonus animated content. The app will bring to life the iconic images found in the book in a more interactive fashion and will launch on June 2.
